DJ Memê
Marcello Mansur a.k.a. DJ Memê was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro. He started deejaying as a hobby when he was 11. Today DJ Memê is Brazil's must successsful DJ / Producer and remixer. Though relatively known in the nightclub scene of Brazil, in 1996 DJ Memê shot to international fame when he remixed the song of then-new artist Shakira entitled "Estoy AquiI". The song became an international hit. Because of that, huge major recording labels took hold of him. Thus he produced other remixes for other known pop acts - Mariah Carey, Toni Braxton and Ricky Martin, to name a few. He also have a record of 36 tracks on the Brazilian top 10. DJ Memê has toured Germany, Spain, Ibiza, Australia, Romania, Hungary, France, Switzerland, Ireland, Itay, USA, Indonesia and South Korea.
